KRAFTON India has announced the BGMI Esports H2 2026 roadmap, confirming two major tournaments for the second half of the season. The roadmap includes the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) and the newly announced BGMI Showdown (BMSD), with both tournaments featuring a ₹1 Crore prize pool.
The season begins with BMSD, an invite-only tournament featuring 48 teams selected through the KIE Leaderboard, BGIS, and BMPS. There will be no open registrations, with every participating team qualifying based on its performances throughout the season. The tournament gets underway on September 22 before concluding with the LAN Grand Finals from October 16 to 18.

BMIC Returns with International Competition
Later in the season, BMIC 2026 will bring together 16 teams, including six from India, five from Korea, and five from Japan, to compete for another ₹1 Crore prize pool.
The BMIC 2026 Grand Finals are scheduled from October 30 to November 1 at the Dome, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (SVP) Indoor Stadium in Mumbai. The tournament will see teams from all three regions compete on the same stage as part of KRAFTON India's H2 2026 esports roadmap.
Speaking about the roadmap, Karan Pathak, Associate Director Esports at KRAFTON India, said the H2 calendar is focused on delivering stronger competition. He added that BMIC will bring some of Asia's strongest teams to Mumbai, while BMSD will reward India's most consistent performers across the season.
