KRAFTON India has announced the BGMI Showdown (BMSD) 2026, a new invite-only tournament that will be part of the BGMI Esports H2 2026 roadmap. The competition is designed for India's top-performing BGMI teams, with all 48 participating teams qualifying through their performances across the season instead of open registrations.
According to KRAFTON India, teams will earn their place through the KIE Leaderboard, BGIS, and BMPS. The tournament will begin on September 22 before concluding with the LAN Grand Finals from October 16 to October 18, where teams will compete for a ₹1 Crore prize pool.
BMSD 2026 Schedule
The tournament will be played across multiple stages before the Grand Finals.

What is BMSD?
Unlike open BGMI tournaments, BMSD is reserved for teams that have consistently performed throughout the competitive season. Instead of hosting open qualifiers, KRAFTON India will invite teams based on their performances across its major esports tournaments and leaderboard rankings.
Speaking about the announcement, Karan Pathak, Associate Director – Esports at KRAFTON India, said the tournament has been created to recognise India's most consistent teams while delivering stronger competition throughout the second half of the season.
