iQOO 8Bit Lead BMSD 2026 on 116 Points After Day 2, With the Smash Point Set at 126

By PhoneOcean2 min read

iQOO 8Bit finished Day 2 of the BMSD 2026 Grand Finals on 116 points after 12 matches. That fixes the Smash Point for the final day at 126, the leader's total plus ten. Day 2's six matches were won by six different teams.

How the Smash Rule decides Day 3

Day 3 starts under normal scoring, but a team that reaches 126 points becomes eligible to win the title by taking a Chicken Dinner in a subsequent match. Winning the match in which a team first reaches 126 does not clinch the title. iQOO 8Bit need ten more points to become eligible. They lead with three WWCDs and a Grand Finals-high 73 finishes, ahead of K9 Esports (100), Blitz Epigrotive Gaming (99) and iQOO SouL (88). Five teams sit within 31 points of the leader.

The final day is scheduled for up to six matches across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar on October 18, streamed on the KRAFTON India Esports YouTube channel. If no eligible team wins by Match 18, the highest points total decides the champion.

Six matches, six winners

The winners were iQOO 8Bit, Blitz Epigrotive Gaming, iQOO SouL, Outrage Esports, Gladiators Esports and iQOO Revenant XSpark.

  • Gladiators Esports had the biggest haul of the day, 55 points, to move from 14th to eighth. They had already climbed from 22nd to eighth in the Semi-Finals just to reach Hyderabad.
  • iQOO SouL added 54 points, including a Chicken Dinner, to jump from ninth to fourth. The BGIS 2026 champions are 38 points short of the Smash Point.
  • iQOO Revenant XSpark started the day last and finished 11th on 67 after a 53-point day and their first WWCD of the Finals.
  • Meta Ninza scored 53 without a win and rose from 11th to seventh.
  • K9 Esports added 43 points to move up to second, one point clear of Blitz Epigrotive Gaming. Blitz picked up their second WWCD of the event but slipped to third.

The BMIC race

The top six advance to the BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA INTERNATIONAL CUP (BMIC) 2026 in Mumbai, where they will face teams from South Korea and Japan, with a pathway onward to the PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP (PMGC) 2026.

Welt Esports and Outrage Esports are tied on 85 in fifth and sixth. Meta Ninza are eight points behind, with Gladiators Esports (73), Team Apex Gaming (70) and Myth Official (69) all inside 16 points of the cut line.

The Day 2 swings were sharp at the other end of that group. Myth Official, fifth after Day 1, scored 20 points and dropped to 10th. Version1 x Blue Army, sixth overnight, added 12 and fell to 13th.
