BMSD 2026 league stage recap with Qualifiers and Survival stage results

Twenty of the 48 teams that opened BMSD 2026 are already out, and the two Survival brackets did most of the cutting. KRAFTON India’s ₹1 crore event started on 22 September. After three weeks of Qualifiers and six days of Survival, 28 teams remain: four with Grand Finals seats in Hyderabad and 24 heading into the Semi Finals.

Qualifiers: Group A paid the biggest prize

The Qualifiers ran across Groups A, B and C, with teams moving up and down after every week. Gosolo Quantum Sparks topped Week 1 on 62 points, Elite Nova Esports took Week 2 on 79, and Gosolo Rapid Chaos finished Week 3 on 78.

The real reward sat in Group A’s final table. Meta Ninza, 8Bit, iQOO Revenant XSpark and Blitz Epigrotive Gaming finished in the top four and booked Grand Finals places without another match.

Upper Bracket Survival: Nebula, and two teams that fixed their Week 3

Nebula Esports played the bracket like they had been waiting for it. They finished on 178 points with 5 chicken dinners and 59 position points, a high on both counts, after a rough first two weeks of Qualifiers.

The more interesting story sits at second and fourth. Outrage Esports and iQOO Orangutan had both ended Week 3 in the lower half of Group B, Outrage eighth and Orangutan sixth. Here they finished second (165) and fourth (127).

Outrage did it with fragging. Their 123 finishes were the most in the bracket, but they won only one lobby and collected 42 position points. They won fights more than they won games, and that was still enough.

GodLike did it the same way, and with less margin for error. They finished sixth with just 27 position points, the lowest of any team that advanced. Their 88 finishes carried them through, while Gosolo Learn From Past went the opposite way, reaching fifth without a single chicken dinner.

The cut line: one point

The line between the Semi Finals and the Lower Bracket was ugly. 4TR Official took seventh on 113, Team Apex Gaming took the last seat on 111, and WePayX Vijay Esports missed it by one point on 110.

That one hurts for a specific reason. WePayX had the second-best position total in the bracket, 48, and two chicken dinners. They had only 62 finishes, and in a lobby this crowded, that gap decided it. For Apex, who had come in off a 13th-place Group A finish in Week 3, one point was the difference between the Semi Finals and another three days of survival.

IRIS Esports (107) and The Knightmobs (105) were close behind, and both dropped to the Lower Bracket with WePayX, Gosolo Higgboson Esports, K9 Esports, HyperCatz, Madkings and Lastade Esports.

Lower Bracket Survival: K9 respond, HyperCatz and Madkings return

Only four of the 16 teams got out of the Lower Bracket, and K9 Esports were the loudest of them. They had finished 13th in the Upper Bracket with 86 points and no chicken dinners. In the Lower Bracket they posted 188 points, 128 finishes and 3 chicken dinners, both bracket highs. The lobby was different, but the turnaround was not small.

K9 Esports, Madkings, Vasista Esports and HyperCatz took the four Semi Finals places. HyperCatz and Madkings had finished 14th and 15th in the Upper Bracket, and both still found a way back.

Mysterious4 finished fifth on 120 points, 23 short of the cut. The other 12 teams are out of BMSD 2026.

What’s next

  • Semi Finals: 8 to 11 October. 24 teams in three groups of eight, 16 matches per team. The top 8 overall qualify for the Grand Finals.
  • Last Chance: 12 and 13 October, for Semi Finals teams ranked 9th to 24th. The top 4 qualify for the Grand Finals.
  • Grand Finals: 16 to 18 October at Savaaya Convention, Hyderabad. 16 teams: 4 from the Qualifiers, 8 from the Semi Finals and 4 from Last Chance.

Four teams already know where they will be on 16 October. Everyone else just learned how thin the margin can get, and Apex are the proof.
