KRAFTON Launches Battlin, a BGMI Tournament Platform, With a ₹20 Lakh Open Season and a BGIS Slot

KRAFTON has launched Battlin, a BGMI-first platform where players can find and join tournaments and hosts can run them, with rewards paid out by the platform itself. It debuts with Battlin Open Season 1, which has a ₹20 lakh prize pool, a BGIS slot for the Track 1 winner, and registrations open until 1 November.

KRAFTON unveiled Battlin on October 16 and calls it India's first unified gaming tournament platform. Its pitch is that BGMI has no shortage of competition but little structure around it: room IDs passed around in group chats, entries collected through third-party apps, and results settled by screenshot.

What Battlin does

For players, the platform covers discovering and registering for open tournaments, competing, and tracking results. Tournaments run daily, and players can join without a personal contact or an invitation. Reward conditions and disbursement timelines are shown in the app before registration.

For hosts, creation, registration, scheduling, room management, participant notifications, results and reward disbursement all sit in one place, with brackets, rooms and notifications automated. The notable change is that the platform, not the organiser, disburses rewards.

Hosting is open to individuals, creators, colleges, gaming cafés and gaming organisations, on the same infrastructure as official tournaments. KRAFTON also says competition on Battlin is decided by skill, with no wagering, staking or betting mechanic.

James Yongkwan Kim, Lead of Battlin at KRAFTON, said the aim is for a player to "discover and join a tournament without depending on contacts or an invitation, and without travelling between cities to find one."

Battlin Open Season 1

• Registrations: Open through 1 November 2026, with 5000+ slots available.
• Dates: Competition runs from 2 to 29 November across two tracks.
• Track 1: ₹5 lakh prize pool. The winning team earns a BGIS slot.
• Track 2: ₹15 lakh prize pool. The Track 2 Finale on 29 November crowns the first Battlin Open champion.

Results will be tracked on the platform, with rewards disbursed through it.
