The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 is underway in Paris, running from August 6 to 16 as one of the headline events of the Esports World Cup. Organized by KRAFTON, Level Infinite, and the Esports Foundation, this year's mid-season showdown brings together 32 of the world's best PUBG Mobile teams, all chasing a $3,000,000 prize pool and a direct qualification spot for the global championship.

The tournament almost had a very different address. It was originally set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before organizers moved it to Paris earlier this year. Matches are now being held at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, running alongside the rest of the Esports World Cup schedule.
The 32 teams have been split evenly into two groups of 16, Group A and Group B, though they're not playing on the same days. Group A takes the stage first, running its matches on August 6 and 7, while Group B follows on August 8 and 9. In both groups, the top 5 teams punch a direct ticket to the Grand Finals, while anyone finishing between 6th and 13th gets a second shot in the Survival Stage. The bottom three in each group, positions 14 through 16, are eliminated outright.
From there, the 16 surviving teams head into the Survival Stage on August 11 and 12, grinding through more matches for just six remaining Grand Finals spots. The Grand Finals themselves run August 14 to 16, with the final 16 teams, 10 who advanced straight from groups and 6 who fought through Survival, battling it out for the title.
The last day of the finals brings back PMWC's signature Smash Rule. At the end of Grand Finals Day 2, the leading team's score plus 10 points becomes the "Smash Point" for Day 3. Once a team crosses that threshold, all they need is one more chicken dinner to lock up the championship on the spot.
Group A is made up of NGX, GEEK, ULA, RRQ, FL, GSTR, ULF, FURIA, GOAT, AUR, 4T, RJC, TTG, AGAL, OG, and KRX, while Group B features ETSH, 721GS, VIT, EA, IDA, S2G, WOL, A7, TT, HORAA, HC, YG, TIAN, GODL, NS, and DNE. Reigning PMWC champions Yangon Galacticos (YG) landed in Group B this time around, alongside Team Vitality (VIT), while Group A carries its own share of fan favorites in Orangutan (OG) and Group B brings in GodLike (GODL), giving India two teams to root for across the tournament.
Group Stage and Survival Stage matches both kick off daily at 12:00 UTC+0, which is 5:30 PM IST for viewers in India, while the Grand Finals start slightly earlier at 11:30 UTC+0, or 5:00 PM IST.
