KRAFTON India teams up with NotYourType for a full CarryMinati collection, complete with a boss fight, a new WOW map, and voice packs, live from August 15.

Highlights

  • CarryMinati becomes the first Indian content creator to join BGMI as a fully playable character, not a cameo or a cosmetic
  • The collaboration includes a new 2v2 WOW map, a Boss Battle in Erangel and Livik, and a full outfit collection designed by NotYourType
  • The event runs from August 15 to September 13, 2026, as part of the BGMI 4.5 season

KRAFTON India has confirmed a first for the Indian gaming scene: CarryMinati is joining Battlegrounds Mobile India as a fully playable character. This isn't a skin drop or a promotional tie-in, players will actually be able to play as him inside the game, marking the first time an Indian creator has been given that treatment in BGMI.

The collaboration, live from August 15 to September 13 as part of the ongoing BGMI 4.5 season, features a full CarryMinati collection designed by NotYourType, India's largest anime channel, who designed everything from the character model to the weapon skins and collectible cards.

A Playable Character, a Boss Fight, and a New Map

The centerpiece of the update is the CarryMinati WOW Map, a fast-paced 2v2 Team Deathmatch mode built around close-range shotgun fights and interactive traps. It slots into BGMI's WOW ecosystem, where creators build custom experiences inside the game.

Alongside that, Classic mode gets a CarryMinati Boss Battle across Erangel and Livik. Beating the boss, along with clearing select Play & Win challenges, earns CarryMinati Tokens, which can then be redeemed through a dedicated Exchange Event for rewards, giving the collaboration an actual gameplay loop rather than just cosmetics sitting in a shop.

Speaking on the collaboration, CarryMinati said the team didn't try to make him fit into BGMI, they simply dropped him into the lobby as himself, and that the personality and attitude in the collection feel authentically his.

The "Frost and Flame" Collection

The full cosmetic set follows a consistent ice-and-gold theme across every item:

  • CarryMinati Set – graffiti tracksuit, tinted aviators, fur-lined red cape, orange high-tops
  • Cryo King Set – crystalline ice armor, frozen crown collar, golden gauntlets
  • CarryMinati Card Collection – gold-framed collector card
  • Cryo Runner Buggy – glacial blue textures with gold armor plating
  • Cryo Fire UMP45 – royal-blue skin with golden phoenix detailing
  • Cryo Blast Grenade – blue "CLIMAX" design with a gold cobra-shaped lever
  • Cryo Core Backpack – ice-and-gold shell with red-and-black phoenix wings

The set also includes a CarryMinati Voice Pack, a Recall Tower voice line, an emote, and a separate NotYourType voice pack. Players can additionally redeem 20, 30, and 50 UC discount vouchers, each usable up to five times, toward the CarryMinati Spin.

Another Big Name in a Loaded BGMI 4.5

CarryMinati now joins a season that's already featured Ferrari, Naruto, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossovers, but this one's different in scope, this is the first time BGMI has brought an Indian creator into the game as a fully playable character.

For BGMI players, the wait isn't long, the collaboration goes live on August 15, giving fans just a few days before CarryMinati officially drops into the Battlegrounds.
