eArena needed a big game. Match 3 gave them exactly that.

The Southeast Asian squad took the Erangel Chicken Dinner with 19 points, combining 10 placement points with 9 eliminations. It was one of the strongest individual match performances of the Grand Finals so far and gave eArena a much-needed boost in the standings.

FURIA finished second with 14 points, while Tianba followed with 13. Aurora Gaming also had a solid game with 12 points, keeping themselves around the top of the race as the first day continues.

eArena Finally Break Through

eArena did almost everything right in Match 3.

The 10 placement points gave them the foundation for the Chicken Dinner, while 9 eliminations pushed their total to 19. They did not just survive to the end. They also found enough fights to turn the win into a major points haul.

After two relatively quiet matches, this is the kind of game eArena needed. One Chicken Dinner can completely change the shape of a Grand Finals standings table this early.

FURIA and Tianba Keep the Pressure On

FURIA finished second with 14 points, including 8 eliminations. They missed out on the Chicken Dinner, but their kill count kept the game valuable.

Tianba were right behind them on 13 points with 9 eliminations. That is the kind of aggressive performance that can quickly push a team up the standings when combined with consistent placement points.

Both teams remain firmly in the conversation as the Grand Finals race starts to take shape.

Aurora Stay in the Fight

Aurora Gaming picked up 12 points in Match 3, with 7 eliminations and 5 placement points.

After dropping just 1 point in Match 2, this was an important response. They needed a decent game to stop the early slide, and 12 points gives them something to build on.

They are still within striking distance of the leaders, but the gap will only become harder to close if they continue trading strong games for quiet exits.

Nigma Galaxy Stay Quiet

Nigma Galaxy managed just 4 points in Match 3, all from eliminations.

That is another low-scoring game for the team that started the Grand Finals with a Chicken Dinner. Their early lead has given them room to absorb these results, but the cushion cannot last forever if the teams behind them keep producing double-digit games.

The pressure is starting to move toward Nigma now.

India Still Waiting for a Breakthrough

GodLike Esports had another difficult match, finishing with 0 points.

There was no placement or elimination point this time, leaving them with very little to show after three matches. They need a major turnaround before the end of Day 1 if they want to stay within touching distance of the leading teams.

Orangutan managed 2 points, which is an improvement over their Match 2 result but still not enough to make a meaningful move up the table.

Three matches are now complete, and the Indian teams are still searching for the game that can change their tournament.

eArena have shown what one big game can do. With FURIA, Tianba and Aurora also putting together strong performances, the top of the PMWC 2026 Grand Finals is already starting to tighten. And with 15 matches still to play, nobody has any room to settle.
