PMWC 2026 Grand Finals: ULF Break Through in Match 4 as eArena's Lead Holds
ULF Esports did not ease into the Grand Finals. They waited, absorbed three inconsistent matches, and then took exactly what they needed.
Match 4 went to the Turkish squad with 20 points, 10 placement, 10 eliminations, their first Chicken Dinner of the tournament and the kind of result that changes how a team is talked about for the rest of the day.
The problem for eArena is that the table above them is compressing fast.

ULF Finally Have Their Game
Three matches of uneven scoring had left ULF Esports sitting outside the conversation at the top. Match 4 changed the framing.
The win was not marginal, 20 points on a Chicken Dinner with ten kills is a clean, dominant game. They landed the placement, they converted fights, and they closed it out. That combination pushes them to 31 points overall and fifth place, four matches in.
The number that matters more is the gap above them. Aurora Gaming sit fourth on 36 points, and ULF are now only five behind. A tournament that looked settled at the top is no longer settled anywhere.
eArena Are Still Leading, But the Margin Is Shrinking
eArena did not need to win Match 4. Their 12 points, built almost entirely on 11 eliminations, kept the scoreboard moving without requiring a Chicken Dinner.
They lead on 48 points with one win already on the board. The consistency has been the story: they have scored in every match, they have not had a zero, and they entered Match 4 as the table leader and left it the same way.
That is where it gets complicated. Tianba are on 45 and Nigma Galaxy on 44. The gap between first and third is four points. One missed rotation, one bad zone, one lost circle fight and eArena could find themselves looking up the table instead of down it.
Tianba and Nigma Are Right There
Tianba's 14-point Match 4, their highest elimination count of the day at 10 kills, was the kind of game a team needs when the pressure is building from both sides. They sit just three points behind eArena and have shown they can frag.
Nigma Galaxy matched them at 14 points. Their second-place finish after a quieter Match 3 was well-timed. At 44 points, they are also in the conversation, and they already have a win on the board.
Three teams are separated by four points with 14 matches remaining. That is not a comfortable lead for anyone.
Aurora's Blank Is a Problem
Aurora Gaming scored zero in Match 4.
After Match 3 they were level with eArena. After Match 4 they are 12 points behind first place and watching teams beneath them accelerate. ULF are five points back. Vitality are eight back. The fourth-place slot that Aurora currently hold is not locked in, it is just being borrowed.
Another zero and that position starts to feel genuinely difficult to defend.
GodLike and Orangutan Still Searching
For the two Indian teams, the scoreboard remains uncomfortable.
GodLike Esports picked up 5 points in Match 4, two placement, three kills and sit 14th overall with 13 points. Orangutan also finished on 5 and are 15th on 10 points. Neither team has had the one big match that would change their tournament position. Both need it soon.
Four matches down. The PMWC 2026 Grand Finals has a leader, but eArena's 48-point advantage looks a lot smaller than it did an hour ago. Tianba and Nigma are right behind them, ULF have arrived with momentum, and Aurora are navigating a sudden vulnerability.
With 14 matches still to play, the only thing that looks certain is that the table is not done moving.
