PMWC 2026 Match 15: Tianba Win, Three Teams Now on Match Point

The Grand Finals still won't end, but the field of teams who can end it just got bigger.
Tianba won Match 15 with 26 points, and none of the eligible teams took the WWCD, so PMWC 2026 lives on. What changed is who's now standing at Match Point. Nongshim RedForce, S2G Esports and eArena are all Match Point Eligible, which means three different teams can now win this tournament with the next Chicken Dinner.
Match 15 Result
Tianba's 26 points, made up of 10 placement points and 16 elimination points, put them clear of S2G Esports in second with 16.
Nongshim RedForce managed eight points, while eArena picked up just one. Enough to keep the tournament alive, but not enough to end it.
Three Teams, One Threshold
S2G Esports are the headline. Their 16-point game pushed them from 116 to 132 points, clearing the 122-point Match Point threshold and making them the third team who can now win the championship with a WWCD.
| Team | Points | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Nongshim RedForce | 136 | Eligible |
| S2G Esports | 132 | Eligible |
| eArena | 123 | Eligible |
Nongshim RedForce still lead overall, but the lead does not matter as much under the Smash Rule. They need the same thing S2G and eArena need: one WWCD.
eArena actually gained a point and still dropped a spot, overtaken by S2G's surge. They are not any less dangerous for it. With 123 points, eArena remain one Chicken Dinner away from the trophy.

Aurora Gaming are seven points from Match Point. A strong Match 16 could therefore turn the three-team Match Point race into a four-team battle.
GodLike and Orangutan
GodLike Esports picked up one point and stay 12th with 74 points. Orangutan were blanked in Match 15 and remain 13th with 66 points.
Neither is in the title picture, but both teams are still playing out the final stage of the Grand Finals and will be looking to improve their final positions.
Match 16
The situation is now extremely simple.
If Nongshim RedForce, S2G Esports or eArena wins Match 16, PMWC 2026 has a champion.
If anyone else wins, the Grand Finals continues, and Aurora Gaming gets another opportunity to reach the Match Point threshold.
With three teams already eligible and Aurora only seven points away, Match 16 could either produce the World Cup champion or make the endgame even more crowded.
