BGMI Lite Pre-Registration Opens August 25: How to Download, Size & Launch Details
BGMI Lite has a date on the calendar. KRAFTON India has confirmed pre-registration opens August 25, 2026, for Android users through Google Play, with an initial download size of around 1GB and a full launch scheduled for later this year.
How to Download BGMI Lite
BGMI Lite is not available for download yet. Android users will first be able to pre-register for the game on Google Play starting August 25.
Once BGMI Lite officially launches, players will be able to download it through Google Play. KRAFTON has confirmed that the game's initial download size will be around 1GB.
How to Pre-Register for BGMI Lite
Once pre-registration goes live on August 25:
- Open Google Play Store on your Android phone.
- Search for BGMI LITE.
- Open the official listing.
- Tap Pre-register.
- Once the game launches, download it directly through Google Play.
KRAFTON hasn't announced full device requirements or final storage size yet. The game itself isn't downloadable right now. Pre-registration opens on August 25, while the full game will launch by the end of 2026.
When Will BGMI Lite Launch?
No exact date yet. KRAFTON has only committed to launching in India by the end of 2026. August 25 is when you can pre-register, not when you can play, so don't confuse the two.
Do You Need to Transfer Your BGMI Account?
No. Existing BGMI players will not need to transfer their BGMI account. Pre-register, wait for launch, and start playing Lite without moving anything over from the main game.
What About iOS?
Not covered yet. KRAFTON says iOS availability and pre-registration timing will be announced separately.
