BGMI LITE pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store in India. The listing is published by KRAFTON, Inc. and is currently marked “Coming soon.”
How to Pre-Register
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search BGMI LITE.
- Check that the developer is KRAFTON, Inc.
- Tap Pre-register.
- Choose Wi-Fi-only or any-network auto-install.
Google Play confirms the registration with a “You’re pre-registered” card and will automatically install the game when it becomes available.
What Makes BGMI LITE Different
BGMI LITE is designed to offer a more accessible way to play BGMI, with a lighter installation and flexible content options.
Nothing mandatory needs to be downloaded before your first match. Extra content is handled through optional modules, allowing players to download what they need instead of installing everything upfront.
The initial download is expected to be around 1GB, while Google Play currently displays an installation requirement of up to 2GB.
Your Account Carries Over
Players can log in with their existing BGMI account, with owned items and outfits carrying over.
LITE players can also squad up with friends using standard BGMI, while both versions are expected to receive updates together. This keeps players connected across the two versions without requiring a separate progression system.
The Rest of the Listing
BGMI LITE currently shows ads and in-app purchases, along with a 12+ rating.
Pre-registration rewards also appear to be planned. Google's cancellation prompt mentions eligibility for special benefits offered for pre-registering, although the rewards have not yet been detailed.
