KRAFTON's tournament platform Battlin has opened registrations for Battlin Open Season 1, its first tournament. The winner of the open Track 1 will earn a BGIS slot, securing a place weeks before official BGIS registrations open in December, according to KRAFTON.

Registrations run on the Battlin platform until 1 November 2026. The company says there are more than 5,000 slots, and teams need no invitation, contacts or prior tournament record to enter. The online BGMI competition runs from 2 to 29 November 2026.

How the two tracks work

Track 1 is the open competition and runs from 2 to 23 November. Its winner gets the BGIS slot. The top four teams from Track 1 also move into Track 2.

Track 2 runs from 24 to 29 November with 32 teams: 28 invited teams plus those four Track 1 qualifiers. The top 16 on points advance to the Track 2 Finale on 29 November, where the first Battlin Open champion will be crowned.

The total prize pool is ₹20,00,000, split into ₹5,00,000 for Track 1 and ₹15,00,000 for Track 2. The announcement does not specify how the money will be divided among placings.

What Battlin is offering

Battlin was unveiled earlier this month as a single platform for tournament discovery, registration, management, results and reward payouts. KRAFTON says reward conditions and disbursement timelines are visible in the app before a team registers, that the platform handles payouts itself, and that there is no wagering, staking or betting element.

James Yongkwan Kim, Lead of Battlin at KRAFTON, pitched the BGIS slot as the main draw. "With Battlin Open, it starts now," he said, contrasting it with the usual wait for official registrations.

For teams without invites, Track 1 offers open entry with a confirmed BGIS reward for the winner. The press note does not identify which BGIS stage the slot covers. It also does not provide a detailed round-by-round format, scoring system or match schedule, leaving those details to be clarified.

Battlin Open Season 1 registrations are open until 1 November, with a BGIS slot for the Track 1 winner.
