Alan Walker Performs at BMIC 2026 Opening as Nongshim RedForce Lead Day 1 by One Point
Nongshim RedForce finished Day 1 of the BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2026 on top with 72 points, one ahead of Dplus KIA (71), at the Dome, SVP Indoor Stadium (NSCI) in Mumbai on October 30. Korean teams took the first three places, with defending champions Kiwoom DRX third on 56.
Dplus KIA won two of the six matches, the most of any team, including the Rondo opener, but Nongshim edged the table on placement points (30 to 29). Both sides had 42 finish points. Nongshim won Match 3 on Erangel, and Dplus KIA added a second win in Match 4. Kiwoom DRX took the final match of the day on Miramar, which moved them into third.
India won two of the six matches. Outrage Esports, the last team to qualify from the BGMI Showdown (BMSD), won one Chicken Dinner and sit fourth with 47 points, 25 behind the leaders. K9 Esports took the other Indian win but are eighth on 34. Blitz Epigrotive Gaming are sixth (37) and iQOO 8Bit ninth (32). BMSD 2026 champions iQOO SouL are 13th on 24 points, 48 off the lead, with twelve matches left.
Daejeon Game PT are fifth on 41. KINOTROPE gaming are seventh on 35 as the top Japanese side, while Versus are last on 5.
The opening ceremony featured a live performance by Alan Walker, and Esports Games Federation (ESGF) India President Shri Ashish Shelar delivered the keynote.
Day 2 is on October 31, and the tournament ends on November 1 with six matches each day.
