KRAFTON India Launches BGMI Survivor League: 50 Creators, ₹70 Lakh Prize Pool and a Leaderboard Fans Control
KRAFTON India has launched the BGMI Survivor League, a creator competition that ranks 50 BGMI content creators on one leaderboard, with the order decided by how much their fans play. The 30-day event opened on October 18, runs until November 17, and carries a ₹70 lakh prize pool. The creator who finishes first takes home ₹12 lakh.
This is not a tournament in the BGIS or BMPS sense. Nobody is fragging for placement points. The scoreboard is built from community activity, which makes it closer to a popularity contest with a rulebook.
How fans move the leaderboard
Players take part inside BGMI. Each one joins a single creator's team, plays daily and completes in-game missions, and the points they earn go towards that creator's rank. Standings update every week.
The 50 creators together reach 69.7 million subscribers, and they will use rivalries, call-outs and leaderboard reactions to rally their communities. Expect much of the League to play out on YouTube and social media as much as in matches.
Three phases, and a switch window this weekend
The League runs in three phases:
- Group Stage: all 50 creators are ranked weekly.
- The Switch: fans can move to another creator's team and carry their earned points with them.
- Grand Finale: decides the final order among the top creators.
The Switch is the part to watch. The window opens on the weekend of October 24 and 25. Because points travel with the fan, a single weekend can move a creator up or down the table, and how many fans change sides will say more about loyalty than any weekly standing. Results will be announced after the event closes and scores are verified.
Prize money and tiers
Every one of the 50 creators receives a payout, ranging from ₹50,000 at the lower ranks to ₹12 lakh for first place. Fans earn in-game rewards for taking part.
Creators are split into four tiers by subscriber base, from five Elite creators with more than 4 million subscribers to 22 rising creators with 100,000 to 500,000. All of them compete on the same leaderboard, so a smaller creator with a highly active community can, on paper, outrank a bigger channel.
The competition is a skill-based video game contest played within BGMI. Fans do not stake money or pay to take part.
What KRAFTON India said
Srinjoy Das, Director, Marketing and BGMI Product Management, KRAFTON India, framed the League around fan influence. "Creators have always had fans in BGMI. What we have built here is a way for those fans to affect where their creator finishes," he said. He added that the tone is meant to be competitive and playful, and that "the final order will come from how the community plays."
The campaign runs as The Final Mahayudh: Survivor League, with updates on BGMI's official social channels. For KRAFTON India, it is another step in working with the BGMI creator community, whose content shapes how many players discover the game and return to it. The first weekly standings and the results of The Switch will show how much that influence is worth.
