Kiaraa is not just a new skin. She is the first character KRAFTON India has built with her own map location, Boss Battle, and origin story attached. She goes live on October 8, 2026, as part of the BGMI 4.6 update.

Designed entirely by KRAFTON India’s in-house art team, Kiaraa follows Anamika, BGMI’s first original character IP created in India in 2025. However, Kiaraa takes the concept further by arriving with her own lore, a dedicated location on Erangel, a Boss Battle, and a full collection built around her.

A Bazaar Players Can Walk Into

Kiaraa’s arrival adds a festive Bazaar to Erangel, designed around Diwali and serving as the second India-themed location in BGMI after the Stepwell introduced in 2025.

The Bazaar is more than a visual addition. Players can drop into the location and search its courtyard for four peacock-shaped lamps. After following the blue indicators and activating all four summon points, Kiaraa awakens.

This triggers Kiaraa’s Test, a dedicated Boss Battle inside a blue-bordered Boss Fight Zone. Armed with her bow, Kiaraa unleashes volleys of arrows and calls attacks down from above. Squads that work together and successfully complete the fight can claim the rewards.

The peacock motif is central to Kiaraa’s design, appearing across the Bazaar lamps, glider, buggy and Nakshatra Set.

Shyam Deshpande, Director of Art at KRAFTON India, said Kiaraa was designed to go beyond the foundation established by Anamika, with a character that has "a place, a story, and a reason to be on the island." He also highlighted the challenge of making the Indian-inspired design feel at home in Erangel while maintaining the quality expected from BGMI’s premium collections.

Kiaraa’s Origin Story

Kiaraa’s story adds another layer to her arrival on Erangel.

According to KRAFTON India, nobody knows exactly when she appeared on the island. Some believe she arrived with the first drop, while others believe she emerged from the ancient tunnels beneath Stalber.

The legends agree on one thing: Kiaraa appears when greed, betrayal and cowardice spread among Erangel’s warriors. She is not there to conquer the island. Instead, she comes to judge those who fight on it.

Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection

Kiaraa also arrives with a complete collection available through the Kiaraa Nakshatra Spin.

The collection includes:

  • Kiaraa Nakshatra Set - Her signature outfit and the flagship collection item
  • Divine Peacock Glider - Featuring the same intricate design language
  • Divine Radiance SCAR-L - An upgradable weapon skin
  • Divine Chariot Buggy
  • Arrow Rain Emote
  • Divine Edge Machete

Players will also be able to access the Kiaraa Exchange Center, participate in Kiaraa Arena challenges, and collect daily login rewards during the event.

BGMI’s First Indian Prize Path

Running alongside Kiaraa is the Diwali Prize Path, which KRAFTON India describes as BGMI’s first Prize Path built specifically for India.

The Prize Path features 20 levels of festive progression and will run from October 22 to November 15. Rewards include the Revel 01 Set and Diwali Gold Set.

A Bigger Step for KRAFTON India’s Original Characters

Srinjoy Das, Director of Marketing and Product Management at KRAFTON India, described Kiaraa as a progression from Anamika, with the new character being integrated into the game through her own story, location and Boss Battle rather than simply appearing as part of a Spin.

KRAFTON India also highlighted the Aura Set as its flagship collection for India, with the company teasing more creations for Diwali.

With Kiaraa, KRAFTON India is expanding its approach to original Indian characters in BGMI. Instead of introducing a character in isolation, the company has built an entire in-game setting and gameplay encounter around her.

Kiaraa will be available in BGMI from October 8, 2026, with the content arriving as part of the 4.6 update.
